About Pinecrest
Henry Flagler in the 1900’s used property at US1 and 102 street as a staging area during the Constrcution of the Overseas Railroad to the Florida Keys. Pinecrest was incorporate in the 1990s by a movement led by resident Evelyn Langlieb Greer and Gary Matzner. The Village of Pinecrest was officially incorporated on March 12, 1996 and today it as a well establish municipal services including police, parks and recreation.
